Project Rise w/DrH Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to closing the leadership gap for women, especially women of color. We empower women - especially women of color - to enter, lead, and thrive in leadership through project management certification, real‑world practicum, mentorship, and sponsorship.
Our Mission:
To equip women with the skills, confidence, and community to rise into leadership and stay there. Project Rise with Dr. Helen Inc. supports women returning to work, professionals feeling stuck in their careers, and emerging leaders seeking career clarity and advancement. Through strategic training, mentorship, and leadership coaching, we help women take control of their professional journeys and thrive in leadership roles.
Our Vision:
A world where women—regardless of race, career breaks, or uncertainty—lead with confidence. By 2030, we aim to double the representation of Black women in leadership (from 2.8% to 5%) and expand pathways for women and underrepresented professionals to advance into leadership.

Meet Dr. Helen –
Leader, Changemaker, and Advocate for Women in Leadership
Dr. Helen Uzamere spent years, often the only woman of color in executive rooms. Despite strong credentials and results, she experienced barriers that too often prevent talented women from advancing into senior leadership. She founded Project Rise w/DrH to remove these systemic barriers—creating a movement that sponsors women to rise, pivot, and lead through project management and mentorship.
